Once upon a time, there was a little puppy named Sparky. He lived in a big house with his family. Sparky loved to play in the backyard with his toys. He also loved to go for walks with his owner, a little girl named Lily.

One day, Lily was taking Sparky for a walk in the park. They were playing fetch when Sparky saw a squirrel. He ran after the squirrel into the woods. Lily chased after him, but she couldn’t keep up.

Sparky ran and ran until he was lost. He was scared and didn’t know what to do. He wandered through the woods for hours, trying to find his way back home.

Finally, Sparky came to a clearing. He saw a house in the distance. He ran to the house and started barking.

A woman came out of the house. She saw Sparky and smiled. “Hello, little puppy,” she said. “What are you doing here all by yourself?”

Sparky wagged his tail. He was so happy to see a human. The woman took Sparky inside the house and gave him some food and water. Then, she called Lily’s family.

Lily’s family was so happy to hear that Sparky had been found. They came to the woman’s house and picked up Sparky. Lily was so happy to see her puppy again. She hugged him tightly and promised never to let him go again.
