A Coffee Shop Encounter | Dialogo en ingles de 2 Personas

Dialogo en ingles de dos personas.

Scene:

A local coffee shop

Characters:

  • Emily: A young woman in her early 20s, studying for her exams
  • David: A man in his late 40s, working on his laptop

Conversation:

[Emily sits at a table near David, pulling out her laptop and a pile of textbooks. She sighs and starts flipping through her notes.]

David: (Looking up from his laptop) Rough day?

Emily: (Startled) Oh, hi! Yeah, it’s been one of those days where I can’t seem to focus on anything.

David: I know the feeling. I’ve been staring at this screen for hours and I’m not sure I’ve actually accomplished anything.

Emily: What are you working on?

David: I’m trying to write a proposal for a new project at work. But it’s just not coming together.

Emily: I can relate. I’m trying to study for my exams, but my brain is just mush.

David: Maybe we should take a break and get some caffeine?

Emily: That sounds like a good plan.

[They both get up and head to the counter to order coffee. As they wait for their drinks, they continue talking.]

David: So, tell me more about your exams. What are you studying for?

Emily: I’m taking a few math and science classes.

David: Those are tough subjects.

Emily: I know. But I’m trying my best.

David: I’m sure you are. Just keep at it, and you’ll do great.

Emily: Thanks for the encouragement.

David: No problem. I’m always happy to help a fellow student.

[They continue talking for a while longer, and they eventually start studying together. A few hours later, they pack up their things and head out for the day.]

Emily: Thanks for the help today, David. I really appreciate it.

David: No problem, Emily. It was nice meeting you.

Emily: You too.

[They smile at each other and go their separate ways.]
