Cuento en Ingles:
One day, the young man was walking through the forest when he came across a strange old woman. The woman was sitting on a rock, and she was crying.
‘What’s wrong?’ the young man asked.
‘I’m lost,’ the old woman said. ‘I can’t find my way home.’
The young man offered to help the old woman find her way home. They walked through the forest for many hours, and finally, they came to the old woman’s house.
The old woman was so grateful to the young man for helping her. She invited him inside and gave him a hot meal. Then, she gave him a small bag of gold coins.
‘This is for you,’ the old woman said. ‘It is a reward for your kindness.’
The young man was surprised. He didn’t expect the old woman to give him anything.
‘Thank you,’ he said. ‘I will use this money wisely.’
The young man left the old woman’s house and continued on his way. He was no longer poor, but he was still not happy. He realized that money could not buy happiness.
The young man traveled for many days, and finally, he came to a large city. He decided to stay in the city and look for work.
The young man found a job as a servant in a wealthy household. He worked hard, and he was soon promoted to head servant.
The young man was now very comfortable. He had a good job, a nice place to live, and plenty of money to spend. But he was still not happy.
One day, the young man was walking through the city when he saw a beggar sitting on the street. The beggar was dirty and hungry, and he looked very sad.
The young man stopped and looked at the beggar. He remembered how he had once been poor and hungry. He felt sorry for the beggar, so he gave him some money.
The beggar was so grateful to the young man. He thanked him over and over again.
The young man smiled. He realized that he had finally found happiness. He had found happiness by helping others.
The End.
Moral Lesson for the Story
True happiness does not come from money or possessions. Happiness comes from helping others.
