Los adjetivos comparativos y superlativos en ingles nos permiten comparar cosas. Existen dos formas principales de comparar dos o más cosas: el comparativo y el superlativo.

Adjetivos Comparativos:

Se utiliza para comparar dos cosas. Se forma de la siguiente manera:

• Adjetivos de una o dos sílabas: se agrega –er al final del adjetivo.
• Adjetivos de más de dos sílabas: se antepone more al adjetivo.

Ejemplos:

Adjetivos de una o dos sílabas:

• Big (grande) – Bigger (más grande)
• Hot (caliente) – Hotter (más caliente)

Adjetivos de más de dos sílabas:

• Beautiful (bonito) – More beautiful (más bonito)
• Intelligent (inteligente) – More intelligent (más inteligente)

Adjetivos Superlativos:

Se utiliza para comparar tres o más cosas. Se forma de la siguiente manera:

• Adjetivos de una o dos sílabas: se agrega –est al final del adjetivo.
• Adjetivos de más de dos sílabas: se antepone the most al adjetivo.

Ejemplos:
